Refund policy

In compliance with The Distance Selling (Jersey) Law 2007


IF YOU ARE BASED IN JERSEY

You have 7 working days after the day of delivery to request a return. To do this, please send an email to me at hello@daniledo.co.uk detailing your order number and which product/products you wish to return. You don’t have to give any reason for wanting to return, but it really helps me to improve my business if you’d like to provide one. Once I have received your request to return, I will arrange a suitable time for me to collect your product/products from you. If you fail to take reasonable care of the product/products before they are collected, and this results in damage or deterioration, I will have to charge you for the reduction in value. Please be aware that if a product has been used, I am unable to refund you as the product’s value is zero. If you wish to return your bag along with your product/products and it is in reusable condition, the 70p bag fee will be refunded. Any refund due will be sent via the original payment method that you used. This policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. If this is the case, please follow the steps below under ‘faulty or damaged products’.


IF YOU ARE BASED IN THE UK OR GUERNSEY

I am currently unable to accept returns for orders that have been sent overseas. However if your order arrives damaged or faulty, please follow the steps below under ‘faulty or damaged products’.


FAULTY OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS

I do my absolute best to ensure that all orders are packaged well to make sure that they reach you safely. However, in the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or there is something wrong, please send an email to me at hello@daniledo.co.uk detailing your order number, which product/products have been affected and make sure to attach a photo. I will then offer you the choice of either a replacement (if available) or a refund via the original payment method that you used.


CANDLE MAKING WORKSHOPS

Cancellation policy: I can offer a full refund if you wish to cancel more than 2 weeks before the date of the workshop. If there is less than 2 weeks to go before the date of the workshop then a 50% refund will be offered. Unfortunately I will be unable to offer any refund if you request to cancel within 24 hours of the workshop.

My workshops are not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. If you book for someone under the age of 18, they will not be able to attend the workshop and a refund will be given as detailed above.
